Accreditations and Memberships

Department of Education

• Yoder International Academy is the only educational institution accredited by the Department of Education to offer admissions to elementary, middle school, and high school students (grade 6~12) in the city of Taoyuan.

Cognia 

• Accredited member since March 31, 2022 (Membership Page)
• YIA is one of the only two Cognia accredited institutions in Taiwan.

College Board

• School Code (CEEB): 694006
• On Nov. 1, 2023, YIA becomes 4th Member of College Board in Taiwan 
• Yoder (TC:70420) is the only institution authorized to offer PSAT, SAT, and Advanced Placement (AP) exams in Taoyuan City.

• YIA is the 6th CIS member in Taiwan since June, 2023. 

• Partnering with British Council, YIA is the only official IELTS testing center in Taoyuan City.  

ETS TOEFL Series

• YIA offers ETS TOEFL series of tests, such as TOEFL ITP and TOEFL Junior. 
• Yoder Bilingual Academy (YBA), an affiliate of YIA, is the only authorized test center for TOEFL Primary and TOEFL Junior in Taoyuan City, or one of the only six test centers in Taiwan. 

CEMC – The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing, University of Waterloo

• School Code: 802513515
• CEMC is Canada’s largest and most recognized outreach organization for promoting and creating activities and materials in mathematics and computer science housed within the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. YIA is proudly to be one of few, if not only, educational institutions to offer the well known Euclid Math Contest in Taiwan.
